Paula Nickel, MSPT, cert. MAT, earned her M.S. in 1987.  She is certified in Muscle Activation Technique (MAT), as well as advanced Primal Reflex Release Technique (PPRT). Paula works with high school and college athletes, competitive runners, and triathletes, and  cares as a physical therapist for Fort Collins professional women’s soccer team. But  she equally enjoys working with non-athletes from infants to seniors.

Congratulations to Paula Nickel for being named “Fittest Exec” in the female over 40 category. This competition was part of the Northern Colorado Business Report’s fourth annual Bixpo event and was determined by a series of physical and medical tests and responses to a detailed Health Assessment Survey. Paula’s advice for keeping fit includes, “Just do whatever you can when you can, like walking. Don’t worry about doing something every day, but keep with it.”

Cathy Wilson, PT earned her Physical Therapy degree in 1981. She has practiced in Fort Collins since 1988, spending three years working in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands recently. Cathy has Integrative Manual Therapy Training and loves treating a wide variety of patients.

Barb Allan, PT, earned her Physical Therapy degree in 1990. In addition to general orthopedics, she has training in vestibular rehab (dizziness) and women's health including urinary incontinence and pelvic pain.

PPT welcomes Chara Renshaw, MPT!
My name is Chara Renshaw and I came to Performance Physical Therapy in November 2009. I moved to Fort Collins from Oklahoma City in October with my husband and two fun-loving dogs. Although I have worked in a vast variety of settings, my all time favorite is out-patient physical therapy, where I can treat my patients with hands-on manual therapy. I am grateful for the time to give care that is both hands-on and uniquely tailored to the patient. Also, I am enjoying settling into the Colorado outdoor lifestyle and exploring all the options available for outdoor fun.

PONGO became a Certified Therapy Dog in December 2006 and is now an official part of the staff. She enjoys greeting patients and showing off her favorite toy of the day. She also loves getting a belly rub.
